This collection consists of records of the Zimmerman Steel Company and is comprised mostly of photographs. This includes pictures of the Monarch Grubber Manufacturing plant; the Zimmerman Steel Company; the site, buildings, and people involved in the building of the steel plant in Siberia; and photographs of W.C. Zimmerman and his family. Engineering drawings, an appointment diary, information booklets for the Monarch grubber (in Spanish), correspondence, campagin cards, and clippings round out the collection. The scrapbooks of Henry's travels and work in Russia in the 1930s provide a glimpse into place and time for which U.S. documentation is extremely rare.
